I met Katy & Ben in Van Buren State Park right on Lake Michigan near South Haven. I was super stoaked to finally be able to shoot a beach session during the summer and THE GLOWY SUN! WOW! This will probably always be one of my favorite sessions and not just because of how amazing they turned out but because I truly care about Katy & Ben so much!
Since Katy is my sister in law I have known her for just about as long as I have known my husband. I would definitely consider her one of my closet friends, too. During college we spent most of our free time kayaking, hamocking in the trees and talking about all the places we'd like to see, Jesus and food. I hold those times close to my heart. I'll save the rest for my Maid of Honor speech, but, knowing she found the most perfect man to spend the rest of her life with makes me teary eyed. AND not to mention I am finally not the only in-law! Woop!
These two tie the knot on August 22nd and while I wish I was photographing the entire day, I have an even bigger job. ;)
